Brethren Academy Fund
The Brethren Academy was created in 2016 by The Brethren Church, which partnered with Ashland University’s Office of Christian Ministries to create a shared ministry to help young men and women discern their calling and orient them to Brethren life and values.
A generous grant from the Lilly Foundation helped fund the program for four years. In 2021, we received a Lilly Foundation sustainability grant, which helped provide some needed funds through 2024.
Over the past several years of programming, over 100 students from 20+ Brethren Churches have experienced Brethren Academy. As we are now operating without grant support, your financial support is more important than ever.
Over the decades, Brethren have strived to raise up the next generation of Brethren leaders through various programs. Though the methods have changed over the years, the goal is still the same: we desire to raise the next generation of leaders for the harvest in God’s Kingdom ministry.
